Carolyn Rolland

Carolyn Ann Rolland of Sapulpa, OK, was the daughter of Lee White Linda (Tiger) White. She was born on Feb. 18, 1939 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. Carolyn passed away on April 9, 2010 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 71. Carolyn grew up and attended school in Mayes County. She was married to Mr. Amos W. Rolland in 1960 in San Francisco, CA. Carolyn attended college at Haskell Jr. College and then attended Kansas University earning a Masteré��â‚â„�s degree. Carolyn was retired from Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS. Her hobbies included quilting, fishing, bead work and cross word puzzles. She was a member of the Methodist Faith and will greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in the Ribbon Baptist Church at Spavinaw, OK. Reverend Louis Ross will officiate and burial will follow in the Jack Ribbon Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Shipmané��â‚â„�s Funeral Cremation Service of Pryor. She is survived by her children; Bryan Jacob Rolland of Lawrence, KS, Terri Rolland of Sapulpa, OK, and Nancy A. Rolland-Thomas husband Webster K. of Eudora, KS; 1-Granddaughter, Raven Makiah Rolland of Lawrence, KS; 2-Sisters, Helen Daniels of Spavinaw, OK and Marjorie White of Kenwood, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos, 5-Brothers, 1-sister her parents
