Carylon Patton

Carylon Louise Patton, 67, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday evening, March 2014 at her home in the country near Lone Chapel Church. Carylon was born in Pryor on May 17, 1946. She graduated from Adair High School and continued on with her education in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was married to Roy Lee Patton on July 2, 1971; they were married for 42 years. Carylon was a dedicated Christian, wife, loving Mom and Nana. We are forever blessed to have known her. Carylon's joy in life was taking care of her family and serving the Lord Jesus. She enjoyed canning as well as shopping with her daughter and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Harvest Time Church south of Adair. The family of Carylon wishes to thank everyone for their love and prayers. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Harvest Time Church near 69 South of Adair with Pastor Rick Walden officiating. Interment will be in the Lone Chapel Cemetery with Darrell Thompson, Randy Thompson, Greg Rainwater, Anthony Rainwater, John Mines, and Ronnie Walden serving as casket bearers. Carylon is survived by her husband, Roy Patton of the home; children, Michael Patton of Pryor, Oklahoma, Mellissa Porter of Washington, Marsha Mines and husband Cliff of Pryor, Cody Patton of Pryor; grandchildren, Emily LeFay, Shelby LeFay, and Breanna Mines; siblings, Henry and Deanne Thompson, Don Thompson, Von and Teresa Thompson, Glen and Mickey Rainwater, Deloris Rainwater, and Shirley Thompson; many other relatives and friends. Carylon is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Allen and Della Lee Thompson, and siblings, Bethel Thompson, Hazel Walden, Lucretia Henshaw, and Norman Thompson.
