Celina Sanders

Celina Marie Sanders, 60, of Locust Grove, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on May 7, 1960 in San Fernando, California. She worked in the home most of her life, taking care of the needs of her family. She loved to cook, go to the creek and tend to her vegetable garden. She also looked forward to spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She leaves behind many memories for her family to cherish.

A celebration of life is planned on October 10, 2020 at Pipes Springs in Locust Grove at 1:00 pm. Food will be catered by Country Cottage and bring chairs as seating is limited. Celina is survived by her husband, Isaac Sanders of the home; son, Gary Butler of Chouteau, Oklahoma; daughters, Jamie Blake of Pryor, Oklahoma and Shanina Butler and husband Leon Higgins of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; step daughters; Amy White and husband Bryson of Galveston, Texas and Sherry Smith of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; brothers, Jim Amlong, Terry Amlong, and Billy Stipes and wife Amber all of Peggs, Oklahoma; sister, Kim Duran and husband Teddy of Las Vegas, Nevada; 8 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mom, Ruth Stipes and brother, Eddie Brewster.
