Charles Cox

Charles "Chris" Cox, 38, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at his home. He was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma on September 9, 1974. He is the son of Sandy and Tim Taylor and Charles Cox. Chris married Deanna Rodriguez on June 21, 2008 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He worked for Red Devil in Pryor as a lead formulator for the company. Chris was an amazing husband and father. Everyone in his life knew how much his family meant to him. He was a loving father to his six year old son, Cole who was the light of his life. Chris enjoyed everything outdoors, riding dirt bikes, fishing or hunting, he was there. His big heart gave him many many friends who dearly loved spending time with him. Fun, caring, dependable, a gentle soul are to few words to really describe Chris. He was hard working. A loving son and brother. Chris will be so very missed by all the people he touched in his life. Funeral Services for Chris will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Pentecostal Church of God in Pryor with Rev. Rick Kiddy officiating. Interment will be at 3:30 in the Crescent Cemetery in Crescent, Oklahoma. Casket bearers are Tim Coffelt, Jerry Coffelt, Todd Hunt, Johnny Duke, Curt True and Brandon Shoemake. He is survived by his wife, Deanna and son Cole, of the home; his parents, Sandy and Tim Taylor of Guthrie, OK; Charles and Wanda Cox of Zachary, LA; his sister, Jenny and Johnny Duke of Guthrie, OK; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wanda and D. R. Coats and paternal grandparents, Charles and Glady Cox; Larry and Nona Brown.
