Charles “Buck” Frederick Cue, 91, of Adair, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Tulsa. He was born on May 3, 1928; in Sapulpa, Oklahoma; the son of Jodie O. and Freda (Brummer) Cue. Buck faithfully served his country in the United States Army from 1946 until 1949. During his service, he worked within the U.S. Calvary Veterinarian Unit. After being honorably discharges, Buck worked in the Oil industry as an Oiler Operating Engineer in Alaska. He loved animals, and was a trick rider in the rodeo in his younger years. Buck also broke horses, and enjoyed spending time around them. He loved his family and looked forward to spending time with those he loved. He leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Angel officiating. Burial will be held in the Ross – Mayes Cemetery. Come and go visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Buck is survived by his daughters, Donna Sitsler of Westville, Oklahoma; Cathy Williams of Pryor, Oklahoma and Diane Wright and husband Randy of Salina, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Sonya Roberts, Bucky Sitsler, Brian Sitsler, Casey Wright, Steven Williams, and Darrell Wright; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jodie and Freda Cue; daughter, Christine Cue; 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
