Cindy Louise Troyer

Pryor

Cindy Louise Troyer, a beloved wife, mother, grammy and friend, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on August 6, 1957, Cindy embraced life with a loving spirit and an unwavering dedication to her family, making each moment truly special. Cindy married Jim Troyer on June 21, 1975, embarking on a beautiful journey together that spanned nearly five decades. Through every season of life, she was the heart of her home, known not just for her delicious cooking but also for her ability to create a warm environment where love and laughter flourished. Her joy for cooking was matched only by her joy for life. Above all, Cindy adored spending time with her grandchildren, believing deeply in “making a memory.” Her infectious laughter and kind-hearted nature drew others to her, creating bonds that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. She found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was sharing heartfelt conversations with friends over the phone or indulging in the sweet taste of movie theater popcorn while enjoying a film. Cindy's playful spirit shone brightly as she frequently lost herself in the thrill of garage sales, always on the hunt for hidden treasures. These activities were not just moments of leisure for her; they were opportunities to bond and create stories, which she would recount with joy. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and love, shaping the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Cindy’s warmth will be remembered fondly by her family and all who were touched by her gentle heart.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Jim Troyer of the home; son, Eric Troyer and wife Leila of Adair, Oklahoma and daughter, Aubrey Sanders and husband Cody of Adair, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Abby Troyer, Maggie Troyer, Cady Troyer, Hadlee Troyer, Cameron Troyer, and Annabelle Sanders; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Peggy (Adair) Prose and her sister, Arnetta Prose.
