Clara Chidester

Clara Louise Chidester, 86, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Tulsa. She was born on November 24, 1931 in Pryor; the daughter of Alfred Fryer and Clara Elizabeth (Whisnant) Fryer. She worked most of her life as an LPN for Meadowbrook Nursing Home and had a passion for helping people. Clara loved to crochet and cook for her family and friends. She also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and loved to look at bright beautiful flowers. Clara cherished each moment she had to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family to cherish.

Clara is survived by her sons, Rick Chidester and wife Kathy of Tulsa, Oklahoma and John Chidester and wife Pryor, Oklahoma; sisters, Pat Campbell and husband Guy of Pryor, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Clara Fryer, husband, Carman Chidester, son, Marty Chidester and daughter, Jacque Colclazier.
