Clella Jones

Clella "Millie" Jones, 85, of Alma, Arkansas (formerly of Langley), passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on November 4, 1928 in Buffalo, Oklahoma; the daughter of Lee Roland and Mary Agnes (Ewing) Taylor. Millie married Leslie on July 17, 1970 in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Langley. Mille loved animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping in Arizona and fishing. Millie also enjoyed remodeling with her husband. She was always a hard worker with anything she was doing. Above all, Millie loved her family and cherished each moment she had to spend with them. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor and as a wonderful woman who everyone loved. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Pastor Joel Rutherford. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel. Millie is survived by her son, Tony and wife Janet Jones of Alma, Arkansas; her 1st husband, Donald Risinger of Golden, Colorado; grandchildren, Anthony "A.J." Jones II of Van Buren, Arkansas, Dustin Barthel of Rudy, Arkansas and Jessica Barthel of Carol Stream, Illinois; great grandchild, Sora Park and Baby Jones on the way; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Jones; brother, Gilbert Taylor and her parents, Lee and Mary Taylor
