Clifford Moore

Clifford Ray Moore, 61, of Chouteau, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at his home in Chouteau. He was born on March 29, 1949 in Princeton, Indiana, the son of Evertt Moore and Betty June (Busby) Moore. Clifford drove for Air Products retiring in 2009. He had logged one million 900 thousand safe miles, an accomplishment few achieve. He married Kay Hudson on September 17, 1982 at Bentonville, Arkansas. A longtime resident of Chouteau, he and Kay attended Word Fellowship together. Clifford loved being outdoors fishing and hunting with his brother. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. A man who leaves a wonderful legacy of love of God, faithful service to his family and profession for everyone to follow and cherish. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chouteau West Cemetery at Chouteau, Oklahoma with Reverends Mark Johnson and David Baker officiating. Interment will be in the Chouteau West Cemetery with Kenny Whitlock, Jerry Ray, Mike Hester, Pat Miller, Ray Brown, Doyle Burkhalter, Jay Oxley and James "Bo" Reed serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearer is Howard Ritter and Kane Hudson. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Clifford is survived by his wife, Kay of the home; one son, William C. and wife, Michelle Moore of Chouteau, OK; daughter, Rachel Rae and husband Matthew Conner of Pryor, OK; brother, Gary and wife, Shirley Moore of Chouteau, OK; grandchildren, Brittany Graves, Madelyn Kay Moore, Isaac Layne Moore, Ryan Keith Conner and Jacob DeWitt Conner; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
