Cloe Allen Willyard, 87, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 12, 1928 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the son of Oscar and Mary (Rice) Willyard. Cloe faithfully served his country in the United States Army and returned to marry the love of his life, Gina on June 1, 1949 in Litchfield Park, Arizona. He worked as a self - employed farmer and propane dealer most of his life. Cloe loved his Lord and faithfully attended church services, and was a member of the Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Pryor. He was a member of Sertoma and a retired Deacon of his church. Cloe and Gina looked forward to their twice yearly fishing trip to Pittsburg, Texas to the Bob Sandlin Lake. He also had a special love for his family, and cherished each moment he had to spend with them. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in the Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Pryor with Pastor Andy Nichols officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery with his sons Chuck Willyard, John Willyard, grandsons, Kris Willyard, Ron Willyard, Jamie Willyard, and great grandson, Colby Newman serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Paul Rainbolt, Danny Callison, Eddie Silkey, Rick Wilson, Richard Blanco, and Jerry Douglas. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jesi Willyard Band Scholarship Fund. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2016 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Cloe is survived by his sons, Chuck Willyard and wife Dianna of Claremore, Oklahoma and John Alfred of Adair, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Gina Willyard; son, James Allen Willyard; granddaughter, Jesi Willyard; brothers, Chester, Harley, Floyd, Jay R. , Howard, Ray, and Tom Willyard; and sisters, Mamie Ellis, Ardie May, Donna and Irene.
