Connie Ann Shields, 70, of Owasso, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on June 28, 1951 in Tulsa; the daughter of Jay Lee and Anna Belle (Owings) Jackson. Connie graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa. She married David Shields in August 1989 and they have celebrated 31 years of marriage. Connie loved to bake. She went to Chicago to attend the Wilton’s Cake Decorating School. Where she learned to perfect her craft. She loved to make wedding cakes, and was a great cook always providing amazing dishes for family get togethers.  Connie was very creative and loved to decorate her house, color, and read books. She loved Mickey Mouse, so much so, that most of her house and clothing would consist of it. Connie enjoyed going dancing and spending time with her family. She was very family oriented and enjoyed each moment she spent with them. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend who leaves behind many memories that her family will cherish.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2021 in the First Church of God in Pryor with Reverend Andrew Rehbein officiating. Connie is survived by her husband, David Shields of the home; daughter, Brandi Esley and fiancé Keith Eddings of Collinsville, Oklahoma; sisters, Debbie Latimer and husband Larry of Montgomery, Texas and Becky Lawmaster and husband Randy of Afton, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Chase and Cole Malloy Coweta, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Anna Belle Jackson.
