Connie Jo Whitten, born on March 21, 1963, in Beaver, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Claremore, Oklahoma. Connie lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and an unwavering spirit. Her personality was characterized as headstrong yet humble, a combination that endeared her to many and fostered the deep connections she maintained throughout her life.

Known for her passions, Connie enjoyed crafting, gardening, and baking, with a particular expertise in homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. She had a fondness for flowers and was particularly devoted to her beloved weenie dog. Her shopping adventures, most notably on Amazon, brought her joy, reflective of her cheerful and practical approach to life. Connie was especially known for her kindness; she loved to give, often showering those around her with thoughtful gifts. Her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, were at the center of her universe, and she cherished each moment spent with them. Connie enjoyed the simplicity of life and found joy in rearranging her home, always seeking to create a welcoming space.

Connie is survived by her daughters, Amanda Soukup of Pryor, OK, and Brittney Whitten of Claremore, OK; stepson, Terry Whitten; her sisters, Cheryl Sandoval and husband JR of Guymon, OK, Linda Amos and husband Stan of Grove, OK, and Lisa Bural of Edmond, OK; her brother, Randy John Simpson of Ketchum, OK; her special cousin, Becky England and husband Scott of Pryor, OK; as well as her grandchildren, Chuckie Irvin and Tiffany, Jake Irvin and Emily Casey, Jazlyn Irvin and fiancé Logan Dixon, Luke Irvin and Saidee Torres, Lane Soukup, and Jamison Riddle. Additionally, her great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Maxwell, and Lucas, carry forward her legacy of love.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, John Franklin and Marjorie Ann (Boling) Simpson; her daughter, Brandi Rogers; her stepson, Randy Jay Whitten, Jr.; her husband, Tony Wilson; her ex-husband, Randy Jay Whitten; and her son-in-law, Trey Soukup.
