Cresteen M. McAnally, 83, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013 in Coweta, Oklahoma. She was born on May 4, 1930 in Salina, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charley Eaton and Mamie M. (Benham) Eaton. She married Charlie McAnally on June 14, 1948 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Cresteen loved the outdoors. Gardening was a favorite hobby of hers. She was a wonderful cook with all her grandsons, attesting to that. She was a great example to her daughters on how to be a loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Cresteen always put her children's needs before her own. She was a Godly woman who loved her Lord and her family with all her heart. She will be so greatly missed but never forgotten. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 4 p.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bob Killman officiating. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Coons and husband, J.C.; brother, Eugene and wife, Lucille Eaton; son-in-law, Wayne Carman; five grandchildren, John and Kim Coons, Jeremy and Jennifer Coons, Aaron and Cricket McAnally, Justin and Meredith Coons and Joshua and Vanessa McAnally; 7 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Mamie Eaton, her husband, Charlie McAnally; her son, David D. McAnally; her daughter, Rebecca J. Carman and her granddaughter, Kallie Carman; her brother, Homer Eaton and her sister, C. Geneva (Eaton) Stevens.
