Cynde Wilde

Cynde Elaine Maslen ~ Wilde, 58, of Tulsa, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Tulsa. She was born on February 2, 1958 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of Willie and Sylvia Zella (Burnett) Maslen. December 1993, Cynde became a part of The Counseling Center, an outreach of the First United Methodist Church. She received her graduate training at the Northern State University and held a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. She was also licensed by the State of Oklahoma as a Professional Counselor and a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Cynde had a wide range of expertise. She also taught at Tulsa Junior College. One of her favorite things to do was read, she had a book in her hand at all times. She also loved her family and spending time with her nephews was one of her joys in her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 23, 2017 at First Church of God with Reverend Andrew Rehbein and Reverend Lynn Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in the Boatman Cemetery with, Patrick Maslen, Richard Gulotta, Peter Marshall, Darrel Moore, Rick Smiddy and Brandon Kerr serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Cynde is survived by her husband Charles Wilde of Tulsa, Oklahoma; mother, Zella Maslen of Pryor, Oklahoma; brothers, Mike Maslen and wife Susan of Pryor, Oklahoma, Tom Maslen and wife Mickie of Pryor, Oklahoma; nephew, Patrick Maslen of Pryor, Oklahoma; nieces, Shavonne Jacobs and husband Bill of Bethal, Alaska, Shannon Kerr and husband Brandon of Claremore, Oklahoma, Alexis Jones ~ Gulotta and husband Richard of Pryor, Oklahoma, Torey Marshall and husband Peter of Tulsa, Oklahoma; great nephews, Everett & Donovan Kerr of Claremore, Oklahoma, Logan Marshall of Tulsa, Oklahoma and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Maslen and sister, Elizabeth (Beth) Maslen Jones.
