Cynthia Couch

Cynthia Leota Couch, 67, of Pryor, passed from this life on Friday, October 22, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on September 4, 1954 in California; the daughter of Charles Huckaby and Rozella May (Wright) Huckaby. Cynthia married the love of her life, Glen Couch, on December 6, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma, and they have enjoyed the last 48 years together. She loved tending to her garden and planting beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed cooking, tending to her pets, and bargain hunting. Above all, Cynthia loved spending time with her grandchildren. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed, but leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family to cherish.

Funeral services for Cynthia will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Andy Pilant officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Glen, of the home; sons, John Couch and wife Shawm of Pryor and Travis Couch of Pryor; brother, Wallace Shotwell of Chouteau; grandchildren, Kody Couch and Dylan Couch; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rozella; and brother, William Wright.
