Dacia Wilkins

Dacia Skye Wilkins, 21, of Locust Grove, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was born on March 11, 1994 and lovingly adopted by David and Geneva (Rogers) Wilkins. Dacia was full of life and made everyone around her smile. She made friends with everyone she met. She enjoyed facebooking and texting her friends and family. Dacia also enjoyed Locust Grove Pirate Football, Battle of 82, and the Founder's Day Rodeo. She liked Dr. Who and Hello Kitty. Above all, Dacia loved her son, Rhett. She looked forward to spending every moment she had with him and buying him toys and playing together. Rhett loved his mommy just as much. We can proudly say that Dacia made a lasting impression on everyone she met by her charm, which was only surpassed by the size of her heart. Her energy, mischief, kindness and zest for life are what her family and friends will remember most. Funeral services for Dacia will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2015 in the Pentecostal Church of God in Pryor with Reverend Mathew Radcliffe officiating. Burial will follow in the Eucha Cemetery with Dr. David Wilkins, Chance McMillen, Ryan Leon, Scotty Berryman, Michael Spencer and Andrew Wilkins serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 28, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her parents, David and Geneva (Rogers) Wilkins of the home, her son, Rhett Wilkins of the home; brothers, Dr. David Wilkins and wife Emily of Dewey, Oklahoma, Ryan Leon and wife Paige of Ada, Oklahoma, Steven Scott Berryman and wife Fanchon of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Timothy Berryman of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Andrew Wilkins and wife Megan of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; sisters, Aimee and husband Chance McMillen of Healdton, Oklahoma, and Genie Spencer and husband Michael of Peggs, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Billy and Wanda Rogers of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Charles and Gladys Wilkins of Jay, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews and many more relatives and friends.
