Dale Allen McFarland

Dale Allen McFarland, 80, of Pryor, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Tulsa. He was born on July 12, 1942 in Pryor; the son of Claude and Violet Coverdell) McFarland. Dale faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves. He married Raydeen Sandusky on May 2, 1970 and they have celebrated 52 years of marriage. He was a member of Extreme Church in Pryor and has lived in the Mayes County area all of his life. Dale enjoyed going fishing, welding, tinkering with cars, and watching westerns. He also looked forward to coaching soccer and watching his children and grandchildren play soccer. He also loved horses. Above all, Dale loved his family. He enjoyed spending every moment he could with them. He leaves behind many memories for them to always remember.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Extreme Church in Pryor with Pastor Ronnie Gaines and Pastor Linda Treas officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Carson, Logan, Sid, Nathan, Chad, Ansli, Mike, and Eric serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Brittany, Marissa, Dakota, Montana, and Nikki. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2023 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Dale is survived by his wife, Raydeen McFarland of the home; sons, Aaron McFarland and wife Kristen of Pryor, Oklahoma, David McFarland and wife Linda of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Paul McFarland and wife Melissa of Inola, Oklahoma; daughters, Cindy Tubbs and husband Eric of Disney, Oklahoma, and Lisa Sills and husband Mike of Pryor, Oklahoma; brothers, Dallas McFarland and wife Phyllis of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Doug McFarland and wife Sharon of Cedar Crest, Oklahoma; sister, Darlene Gilliland of Chelsea, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Violet McFarland.
