Dana Annette Hogan-Bennetch age 66 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on April 30, 2023, in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. She is survived by mother, Celene Windle, brother, Marty Hogan and sisters Diann
Stapleton, Janea Hogan and nephew Dodge Hogan. She is preceded in death by her father, John Hogan,
her Uncle Col. George McCoy and maternal grandmother, Emma McCoy.
Upon graduation from Pryor High School, she attended St. Gregory’s College in Shawnee, Langston
University and OSU earning her bachelor’s degree of Business Administration.
Dana retired from her professional career at Cinemax Petroleum Corporation and soon filled her life
with many rewarding and interesting volunteer positions. She received the Helen B Lauinger “Heart of
Gold Award” for her outstanding service to the Domestic Violence Intervention Services Inc. She
continued to volunteer as a reading tutor to many children in the Avid Readers Association. and was
passionate about her work with The Animal Rescue Foundation.
Dana was an accomplished Yoga Guru. Those who knew her loved her sense of humor and sharp wit.
Dana had a love for the Arts and was a frequent supporter of the Tulsa Art Community.
A funeral mass for Dana will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Pryor, Ok.
A reception will follow. The family requests that donations be made in Dana's honor and memory to Animal Rescue Foundation at P.O. Box 471483 Tulsa, OK 74147-1483.
