Dana Russell

Dana Lynne Russell, 57, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at her home.  She was born on November 22, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Lee Turner and Dolores (Hale) Turner.  Dana married Clifford Russell and made their home in Spavinaw, Oklahoma.  She worked as a teacher’s assistant for the Locust Grove Schools.  Dana was also the Post Colorguard Secretary.  A lovely lady who will be so very missed by all who knew her.

Dana is survived by her husband, Clifford Russell of the home; sons, Ky Hanna and Clifford Russell, Jr.; daughter, Melissa Russell Johnson; brother, Kerby Piccard; sisters, Tena Turner, Holly Winters and Kim Snider; nephews, Jason Byrd, Joshua Byrd; great nephew, Jayden Bird; 7 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Turner; sister, Holly Winters and her grandparents.
