Dannie Lee Meeks

Dannie Lee Meeks, 62, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, March 12, 2023, in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born on November 18, 1960, in Pryor, to Oceola Jack Meeks and Juanita (Lloyd) Meeks. Loving the outdoors, he enjoyed anytime he was able to go fishing and hunting. He also loved to work on cars. More than anything, he loved to spend time with his family and took every opportunity to do so. He leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor with Brian Barber officiating. Keith Meeks, Rick Lloyd, Mike Smith Jr., Josh Pierce, and DeWayne Meeks will be serving as casket bearers. Dannie is survived by his son, Keith Meeks of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; mother, Juanita Meeks; brother, DeWayne Meeks and wife Cindy of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sister, Dorothy Smith and husband Mike of Chouteau, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sydney, Nathan, Blair, Harley, and Danika; one great granddaughter, Everleigh; and one special cousin, Rick Lloyd of Palm Coast, Florida. He is preceded in death by his father, Oceola Jack Meeks; son, Kristopher Meeks; daughter, Kristan Meeks; brother, Darrell Meeks; sister, Debbie Ackley; and nephew, Jackie Steffens.
