Darrell Sitsler

December 22, 1958 — September 2, 2020

Darrell "Shotgun" Leon Sitsler, who was born on December 22,1958 to Louie "Booze" Sitsler and Leavurnia Marcene (Duggan) Sitsler both of Salina, passed from this life on September 2, 2020. Darrell was known, by friends and family, to be a gentle giant with a big heart, a love of laughter, and a zest for hard work. He never met a stranger and would always be the first to offer any help anyone might need. He had a great love for children and loved spending time with them, especially his own. He believed whole-heartedly in God and our saviour Jesus Christ and firmly believed that he would be re-united with family and friends who had gone before him on those golden shores one day. Although this is a sad time for his family and friends, we can all take, at least, some small comfort and rejoice in knowing that he has now been delivered unto our Heavenly Father's kingdom and been re-united with all the loved ones who have gone before him, and also in knowing that we will see him again someday, when we too are called to make the journey to the promised land and our awaiting loved ones
