David Steven Frampton, a beloved husband, father, brother, papa and friend, passed away on October 18, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on April 6, 1956, in Subic Bay Manila, Philippines. David was a remarkable individual who left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
David lived his life to the fullest and was known for his incredible sense of humor. He had a mischievous side and loved pulling pranks on his friends and family. His infectious laughter and playful nature brought joy to all those around him. It was impossible not to love him once you met him.
As a dedicated family man, David cherished his role as a husband and father. He married the love of his life, Cindi, on August 9, 2008, in Pryor. Their union was filled with countless beautiful memories that they created together throughout the years. David's devotion to his family knew no bounds.
David's passion for fishing and hunting was evident. He found joy in nature and spent many hours enjoying these activities.
In addition to being an avid outdoorsman, David served his country with honor and bravery during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. His dedication to serving his country was a testament to his selflessness and courage.
Faith played an essential role in David's life. Every Sunday, he taught Sunday school at Redemption House of Prayer in Pryor. His commitment to spreading love and kindness through teaching brought comfort and guidance to many.
David leaves behind a world full of cherished memories and deep connections. He is preceded in death by his parents, David Milton Frampton and Belen (Velasco) Scott. He is survived by his wife Cindi Frampton of the home; step mother, Nancy Frampton; his sons Michael Frampton of Verona, Missouri, David Steven Ray Frampton, of Aurora, Missouri, Ryan Sperber of New Jersey, and Chris Redman of Coweta, OK; his daughters Destiny Beeler of Wagoner, OK, Sarah Frampton of Broken Arrow, OK, Kayla Campbell, and Misty Harrison, both of Pryor, OK; his brothers Steve Tulk and David Tulk, both of Tulsa, OK, Robert Frampton of Oklahoma City, OK, and Michael Scott of San Diego, California; his sisters, Debbie McCullough of Iowa, Virginia Brown of Tulsa, OK, and Marilyn McCarly of San Antonio, Texas; as well as thirteen adoring grandchildren.
David Steven Frampton's presence illuminated the lives he touched. His warm heart and playful spirit will be forever missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him.
A funeral service for David will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Hazelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor.
