Deredia Louise Vanbeber, 68, of Chouteau, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at her home in Chouteau. Deredia was born on February 8, 1942 in Howe, Oklahoma, the daughter of Manual Richard Drury and Georgia Ann (Oliver) Drury. She married Vernie Vanbeber on October 30, 1959, making their home in Chouteau. She worked as the office manager for the Chouteau Tag Agency, a position which she loved because of being able to visit and make so many friends. She enjoyed sewing, making clothes for her girls. She was very good at crossword puzzles. Deredia enjoyed shopping and being with her friends. Her greatest joy in life was her family; she loved Vernie, her girls, Veredia and Lenedia, and her four grandchildren. She was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Deredia lived her life for others whether in the office or in her home, she blessed so many with the life she lived. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the Lighthouse Assembly of God in Locust Grove, Oklahoma with Reverend Harry Jackson officiating. Interment will be in the Chouteau West Cemetery in Chouteau, Oklahoma with Trent Hampton, Jonathan Vanbeber, Larry Kunkel, Steve Young, Charles Dyches and Daniel Dyches serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her husband, Vernie of the home; her daughters, Veredia Vanbeber and partner, Kenny Nelson of Chouteau, OK and Lenedia Hendricks and husband, Barry of Chouteau, OK; her grandsons, Patrick Nelson and Landon Hendricks both of Chouteau, OK; her granddaughters, Ashton Hendricks and Morgan Hendricks both of Verdigris, OK; her brothers, Don Drury and wife, Sondra of Collinsville, OK and Lynn Drury and wife, Kay of Poteau, OK; her sister, Betty and husband, Durwin Hampton of Poteau, OK; brother-in-law, Arnold Kunkel of Marlin, TX; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manual and Georgia Drury and her sister Jean Kunkel.
