Dollie Etchison

Dollie Ann Etchison, 61, of Spavinaw, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on October 6, 1953 in Adair, Oklahoma; the daughter of J. B. and Francis (Thorton) Meeks. Dollie enjoyed reading and crocheting. She also enjoyed the outdoors; especially when she was going fishing. She also loved watching her favorite Television shows: Law & Order and CSI Miami. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held, Friday July 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Baptist Church in Salina, Oklahoma with Reverend Bobby Belew officiating. Interment will be in Ross-Mayes Cemetery with Joe Wolf, Justin Wolf, Jake Meeks, Joel Meeks, Jake Meeks, Jr., and Toby Johnston serving as casket bearers. Dollie is survived by her husband, Mickey Etchison of the home; her son Mickey Etchison of Salina, Oklahoma; her daughter, Rebecca Powers and husband Jeff of Salina, Oklahoma; Brothers, Jake and wife Lynette Meeks of Spavinaw, Oklahoma and Joel Meeks of Pryor, Oklahoma; Sisters, Sharon Wolf and husband Joe of Salina, Oklahoma; Mary Pasley and husband Steven of Salina; Carolyn Yarnell and husband Steve of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Regina Ernst of Spavinaw Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and baby brother, Jimmy Meeks.
