Don Rankins

Don Raymond Rankins, 76, of Pryor, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 11, 1944 in Fort Smith, Arkansas; the son of Sherman and Helen (Ford) Rankins. Don worked most of his life in the trucking industry as a Truck Driver. When he wasn’t on the road, he looked forward to going fishing and watching movies. Don was also an Elvis fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Don is survived by his children; Don Raymond Rankins, Jr of Washington, John Fitzgerald Rankins and wife Donna of Vancouver, Washington, Dawna Rae Rankins of San Diego, California; Donald Ray Rankins of Arkansas; and Jimmy Rankins and wife Brittenge of Pryor, Oklahoma; brother, Jimmy Rankins of Washington; sister, Tina Argueta of Muldrow, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Helen Rankins and his sister, Peggy.
