Donald Richard Brown, 75, of Chouteau, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his home. He was born on July 20, 1943 in Stillwater; the son of Robert and Rosie Brown. Donald worked for many years as a welding and construction contractor and owned Brown’s Welding and Construction. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved Jehovah God very much. He was loved and respected by his friends and family. Donald also enjoyed the outdoors, going camping and fishing. He was a wonderful man, loving husband and father, who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Doug Cauthron officiating. Donald is survived by his wife, Carla (Collins) Brown of the home; son, David “Shayne” Brown of Chouteau; daughter, Donna Brown – Bass and husband John of Sonoma, California; brothers, Bill Clark of Lubbock, Texas and Jerry Brown of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters, Letha Smith of Abernathy, Texas, Rosemary Carmen of Lorena, Texas, Deanna Dearing Ooldham of St. Charles, Missouri, Betty Rhines of Granbury, Texas, and Robbie Neel of Clide, Texas; grandson, Calvin Spencer Brown; great granddaughter, Kyndal Brown; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosie Brown, and 3 brothers, Robert Brown, Jr., Arthur Brown, and Jesse Brown.
