Donna Farmer

Donna M. Farmer, 75, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born on July 11, 1939 in Watsonville, California, the daughter of Lewis Thomas and Rita (Stewart) Thomas. She faithfully served her Country in the United States Army. She married John W. Farmer Sr. on May 6, 1961 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky and has celebrated 53 years of marriage. She enjoyed reading science fiction novels and many other books. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Donna enjoyed playing ball with her children. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Military Honors. She is survived by her husband, John Sr. of the home; her daughter, Jewell Ann Farmer of Chouteau, OK; her sons, John W. Farmer and wife, Mary Lou of Pryor, OK, William B. Farmer and wife, Danita of LaPort, IN and Gerald H. E. Farmer and wife, Andrea of Worms, Germany; brother, Gerald Widasky of San Diego, CA; sister Debbie Sqambelluri of San Diego, CA; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, William Cummings.
