Donna Fryer

Dona Mae (Goins) Fryer, 90 of Harvard, Illinois, formerly of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, in Rockford, Illinois. She was born on July 1, 1924 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Guy Goins and Mae (Jackson) Goins. Dona married Albert Sidney Fryer on January 24, 1942 in the First Baptist Church of Pryor. She worked in the medical profession as an insurance specialist for several Pryor doctors. She was a lifelong resident of Mayes County until she moved to Illinois to be near her son and daughter-in-law a few short years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pryor. A lovely lady who will be remembered in all the memories she leaves behind. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Henry Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Chuck Fryer, Corey Fryer and Kerry Walsh serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her son, Sidney Lee Fryer and his wife Sherry of Harvard, IL; her sisters, Judy Kay Wingard of Jay, OK, Geraldine Anderson of Southwest City, MO, Annabell Tutor of Jay, OK and Lee Jean Beauchamp of Jay, OK; grandchildren, Chuck Fryer, Corey Fryer and Candra Phillips; great grandchildren, Chloe Phillips, Cody Phillips, Zoe Phillips, Benton Fryer, Kenneth Fryer, Katie Mae Fryer and Charlie Fryer; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Fryer; son, Ronnie Fryer; brothers, Thomas Staley Goins, Gary Gale Goins, Gerald Goins and Wesley Guy Goins; sisters, Betty Potter and Norma Maxine Beck; parents, Guy and Mae Goins.
