Donna Lane

Donna Jewel Lane, 56, of Salina, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Salina, Oklahoma.  She was born on September 1, 1963 in Bakersfield, California, the daughter of Sammy Allen Carter and Opal Kathryn (Conn) Carter.  Donna married Jerry W. Lane in Miami, Oklahoma on July 25, 1981.  She had worked as a cook for the National Guard Armory and drove for C&C Trash Company.  Donna loved gospel music, her favorite flowers were red roses and of course she loved eating Tacos.  Donna had so much fun playing Bingo at the VFW. She enjoyed so many things in her life, crocheting, fishing, golfing, hunting and playing the bass guitar, but her love was Jerry, the kids and those precious grandbabies.  Donna was a lovely lady who leaves us much to soon.  She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Ross-Mayes Cemetery   with Reverends Loretta Lane and Sam Carter officiating.  Serving as casket bearers are Jerry Lane Jr., Virgil Lane, Justin Lane, Christopher Lane, Brandon Lane, Brian Vance and Jay Lane. Donna is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; her children, Jerry Lane Jr of Salina, OK, Virgil Lane of Salina, OK and Lynsey Vance of Rocky Point, OK; her sister, Loretta Lane of Salina, OK and her brother, Sammy Carter Jr. of Salina, OK; her grandchildren, Jerry Lane III, Madelynne Lane, Bella Lane, Kadin Lane, Izabell Vance, Issac Vance and Dianna Wolf; man other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by  her brother-in-law, Gordon Lane.
