Donna St. John

Donna Clair St. John, 83, of Pryor, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 8, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on April 6, 1938 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma; the daughter of Raymond Brown and Dorris (Cowan) Brown. Donna worked various jobs in the Mayes County area such as the  First National Bank and the Pryor Public Library. After working at the library for over 20 years, she retired from there. She was a giver, and the caretaker of her family and friends, always putting others before herself. Donna was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and truly loved her church family and being apart of church activities. In her pastimes, she enjoyed reading a good book and tending to her yard. Donna was a wonderful wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a dear friend to many. She will be so dearly missed by all who knew and loved her but leaves behind many wonderful memories.

Funeral services for Donna will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Church of Christ with Brother D.J. Castoe officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Drew Dunham and Joel Dunham serving as casket bearers. Donna is survived by her sons, Matthew St. John and wife Denise of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Mark St. John and Renee Bright of Owasso, Oklahoma; brother, Larry Brown of Sterling, Virginia; grandchildren, Regan and Sarah; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Dorris; brother, Richard Brown; sister in law, Jeannie Ball; ex-husbands, Jim St. John and Bob McKinzey; the love of her life, Ted Hansen; and several aunts and uncles.
