Doris Ford

Doris Elli Ford, 74, of Pryor, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on May 4, 1938 in Mannheim, Germany, the daughter of Ervin and Mina (Mueller) Stutz. She was raised in Germany. Doris married Michael Ford on June 5, 1959 in Mannheim, Germany. Doris retired from the Quaker Window Products Company in Freeburg, Missouri. She moved to Pryor in 1990. Doris enjoyed playing Bingo, knitting and traveling. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Pryor with Richard Bradshaw officiating. Interment will be in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Robert Ford, Carl Ford, Michael Ford, Kenneth Stone, Patrick Ford and Justin Ivey serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Mary Jones, Barbara Beacom and Patricia Ivey. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral Cremation Service. She is survived by her sons, Robert and wife, Pamela Ford of Kansas City, MO, Carl Ford of Pryor, OK and Michael Ford of Pryor, OK; her daughters, Mary Ford Jones of Pryor, OK, Barbara Beacom of Pryor, OK and Patricia Ivey of Kansas City, MO; her brother, Karl Stutz of Mannheim, Germany; sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Ford; her parents, Ervin and Mina (Mueller) Stutz; her brother, Ervin Stutz and a baby sister.
