Dorothea Hubble

Dorothea Esther (Calhoun) Hubble was born on April 10, 1922 in Brighten, CO to James S. Martha B. (Clarkson) Calhoun. She passed away on February 16, 2011 in Tulsa, OK. She was married to Arvil Russell Hubble on Jan. 31, 1942 in Sharon Springs, KS. She was an avid jig saw puzzle worker and doll collector. She loved flower gardening and raising strawberries. Dorothea was of the Methodist Faith. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Burial will follow in the Adair Cemetery in Adair, OK. The family will receive visitors on Friday evening from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the Shipman Funeral Home. Rott husband Jerry of Pryor, OK; her son, Robert Allen Hubble wife Donna of Afton, OK; one special grandson, David Hubble whom they raised and his wife Manessa; grandchildren, Brian Hubble wife Brandi of Grove, OK, Angela Hubble husband, Clint of Tulsa, OK, Chad Rott wife Tiffany of Inola, OK, Brad Rott friend Amber of Big Cabin, OK, Kami Robinson husband Wes of Claremore, OK. She was preceded in death by; her husband Arvil on Feb. 4, 1988; her son, Carl Russell Hubble in 1972; her brothers, John James Robert Calhoun; Sisters, Cora Sandstead Margaret Demlow and her parents.
