Dorothy Jean Bond

Dorothy Jean Bond, 78, of Pryor, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 28, 1944 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of Lloyd and Joan (Langston) Breedlove. Dorothy owned and operated Chuck and Dorothy’s Bar in Pryor with her husband Charles “Chuck” Bond for many years. She also worked as a Bookkeeper at Jackson Hewitt and various other accounting firms. She loved spending time outdoors, especially when she was able to go hunting and fishing and looked forward to going to the casino. She leaves behind many memories for her family to cherish. She will be lovingly remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove with Ricky Wright, Jared Wright, Kody Couch, and Dylan Couch serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Jim Breedlove of Pryor, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Joan Breedlove; husband, Charles Bond; brother, Bill Breedlove; and sisters, Bonnie Summers and Carol Lavallee.
