Dorothy Hale

Dorothy Mae Hale, 62, of Sapulpa, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at her home in Sapulpa. She was born on December 3, 1952 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of Freddrick and Clara DeArmond. Dorothy enjoyed the outdoors; especially when she was camping and fishing. She looked forward to family get togethers and watching the Lifetime network and scary movies. She was a member of the Gold Mine and the Vegas Club pool leagues and was a waitress and bar tender for many years. She always had a positive outlook on life and stayed spunky always. She will be remembered for all the wonderful memories she leaves behind and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kim Sowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross - Mayes Cemetery with Dillan Ketzler, Jr. Anderson, Michael McCause, Timothy DeArmond, Sammy DeArmond, Jerry DeArmond and Jason DeArmond serving as casket bearers. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Kevin Logsdon of Edmond, Oklahoma and Billy Logsdon of Cushing, Oklahoma; daughters, Carmon Wells of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Tammy and husband Shawn Ketzler of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; brothers, Buddy DeArmond of Bixby, Oklahoma, Sammy DeArmond of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Timothy DeArmond of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sisters, Debbie DeArmond of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Rebecca DeArmond of Bixby, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Freddrick and Clara DeArmond, brothers, Climmy and Clyde DeArmond; sister, Norma Tripp and granddaughter, Natasha.
