Dorothy Adell Trout, 91, of Pryor, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Salina, Oklahoma. She was born on September 11, 1921 in Winchester, Tennessee, the daughter of Robert Ivey and Almedia (Gault) Ivey. She married Jim Trout who preceded her in death on July 5, 2008. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pryor and taught children's Sunday school. Dorothy enjoyed cooking for her family and any type of activity family related. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who leaves many wonderful memories for her family to cherish. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Larry Lees officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Phil Trout of Langley, OK and Gary Trout of Langley, OK; one grandson, Jimmy Doug Trout of Tulsa, OK; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Almedia Ivey; her husband, Jim Trout; four brothers, Bob, Earl, Earnest and Lloyd Ivey.
