Dusty Wayne Russell, 57, of Langley, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1960 in Ponca City, Oklahoma; the son of Kenneth and Tena (Stowers) Russell. He married Robin Jones August 19, 1983 in Miami, Oklahoma. Dusty worked as a mechanic and in maintenance for Solae for many years. He also loved drag racing, and had been enjoying the hobby for over 35 years. He loved to build and to buy and trade cars; especially drag cars. He also like to go fishing and play darts. Most of all, Dusty looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed playing with them whenever he could. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother who leaves behind many memories for his family to cherish.
Memorial services will be held from 2:00 p.m., until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Langley City Hall in Langley, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the leukemia / lymphoma foundation in Dusty's name. Dusty is survived by his wife, Robin Russell of the home; son Kyle Russell and wife Leslee of Chouteau, Oklahoma; grandchildren; Brayden, Trenton, Kaylin Rusell; father, Kenneth Russell of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; brother, Marty Russell and wife Lennette of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; sisters, Debbie Morrow and husband Rick of Eucha, Oklahoma and Keko and husband Jessie Webb of Zena, Oklahoma; in-laws, Marty and Dean Jones of Ketchum, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Tena Russell.
