Earl Franklin Morrow Jr., 77, of Spavinaw, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Tulsa. He was born on April 16, 1939 in Eucha, Oklahoma the son of Earl Franklin Sr. and Ruby Maxine (Scott) Morrow. Earl graduated from Jay High School and attended OSU Tech School. He worked as a plumber and builder. He looked forward to spending time with his family, he especially loved helping people. Earl loved horses and was a rancher and he also enjoyed going fishing anytime that he could go. Earl was a wonderful husband and dad and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the Spavinaw/Strang cemetery in Spavinaw, Oklahoma with Justin Turner officiating. Burial will follow with Ken Wolfkill, Tommy Gilpin, Paul Higdon, Steve Higdon, Kenny Kempel and Travis Smith serving as casket bearers. A wake service will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Earl is survived by his son, Don and wife Lavina Morrow of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; daughter, Jeanette Morrow of Pensacola, Oklahoma; sisters, Mary Helen Kirby of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, Wanda Wolfkill of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Franklin Sr. and Ruby Maxine Morrow; sister, Norma Sowers.
