Edna “Dolly” Raper, 67, of Salina, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 4, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on February 26, 1953 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the daughter of Ike and Florence (Smith) Littledave. Dolly was married to the love of her life, Frank Raper, who has preceded her in death. Together, they had four children: E-we, Liddie, John, and Sarah. She was a member of Euwasha Church in Kenwood. Her church family brought a great amount of joy to her life and she enjoyed attending services and church events. Dolly worked for Kenwood Schools and retired after many years. In the words of Principal Chief, Chuck Hoskin, Jr., Dolly was an “outstanding Cherokee citizen,” as she was one of the Nation’s fluent Cherokee speakers. She was a wonderful cook, her best recipes being fry bread and biscuits and salt meat. Dolly’s grandchildren meant everything to her, she attended all their events faithfully. She also enjoyed going camping with her family during the 4th of July. Dolly had a heart for helping others, whether it was taking groceries to those in need, being with them in prayer, or just being there, she touched everyone she met with her loving and humbling spirit. She leaves behind so many memories for her family and friends to cherish. She will be so dearly missed by those who loved and knew her.

Funeral services for Dolly will be at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Salina First Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Budder officiating and Reverend Richard “Duke” Pickup reading the obituary. Burial to follow at Euwasha Cemetery with George Littledave, Judge Littledave, Nick Littledave, Rodney Stewart, Daniel Littledave, and Brock Thomas serving as casket bearers.
