Edward "Mogwai" Aguirre

Edward “Mogwai” Austin Aguirre, 51, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Claremore. He was born on May 31, 1969 in Selma, California; the son of William Vaughn and Nancy (Smith) Sloan. Edward worked for many years as a garage door installer and enjoyed spending time with his family. He also looked forward to singing and listening to music. Edward will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation services will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Edward is survived by his wife, Shannon Aguirre of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sons, Eddie Aguirre and wife Dusty of Pryor, Oklahoma and Cameron Aguirre of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Echo Aguirre Newby and husband Tyler of Claremore, Oklahoma and Chloe Aguirre of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Julie Thomas of Pryor, Oklahoma and Kamisha Jacobson of Pryor, Oklahoma; grandchildren; Brooklyn, Addi, Cj, Theo, and Zecter; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, William Sloan.
