Elizabeth Avery

Elizabeth Ann Avery, 67, Salina, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Pryor. She was born on August 22, 1952 in Tulsa; the daughter of Sherman and Erva Jean (Hillhouse) Avery. She worked as a case manger for Behavioral Health and also earned her Nursing and Criminal Justice degrees from Rogers State University. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and animals, especially dogs and cats. She leaves behind many memories for her family to remember.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020 in the Ross – Mayes Cemetery in Salina. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Sara Avery - Murray of Salina, Oklahoma; mother, Erva Jean Avery of Salina, Oklahoma; aunt, Belinda Hillhouse of Rockdale, Texas; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Murray; father, Sherman Avery; and brother, Steven Avery.
