Elizabeth Gay

Elizabeth Arlene Gay, 83, of Spavinaw, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was born on December 1, 1936 in Warrensburg, Missouri; the daughter of Archie and Willa Bell (Houts) McKinzie. Arlene earned her LPN Degree and worked as a nurse for many years. She had a heart for helping people and worked to take care of people until she was 81. Arlene was a lovely lady of faith and attended Spavinaw First Baptist Church. She also enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Arlene is survived by her sons, David Whiteman and wife Holly of Hale, Missouri, Darrell Whiteman and wife Sue of Hale, Missouri and Terry Whiteman of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; brother, David McKinzie and wife Ruth Raleigh, North Carolina; sister, Ruth McKinzie of Lee Summit, Missouri; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Willa Bell McKinzie and her husband, Willard “Pat” Gay.
