Elizabeth McAnally, 92, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at her home. She was born on November 16, 1921 in Pampa, Texas, the daughter of Jay Hugh Fleming and Mary Olive (VandeVander) Fleming. She married David Dee McAnally on August 17, 1940 in Sayre, Oklahoma. They had lived in the Spavinaw area over 40 years. Elizabeth received her LPN and worked for South Moore Hospital in Pasadena, Texas until moving to Spavinaw. She enjoyed bowling, but especially enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and arrowhead hunting. She was a lovely lady who will be so very missed by her family and all who loved her. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Kevin Webster officiating. Interment will be in the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery with David Kassis, Sam Swihart, Andy Sowdal, Bradon McGill, David Maddox and Andrew Dunn serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her daughters, Daveya Beth Bussey of Yukon, OK and Connie Jo Maddox of Spavinaw, OK; her sisters, Fannie Fullbright of Hickory, NC, Alice Judy Porter of Temple, TX and Voncia Winegeart of Kingston, OK; 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren;11 great great grandchildren and 3 great great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Dee McAnally in 2003; her parents, Jay and Mary Fleming; seven brothers and two sisters.
