Ellen Ellison

Ellen Marie Ellison, 73, of Claremore, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 29, 1944 in Pryor; the daughter of Jess and Nancy (Thompson) Young. Ellen worked most of her life as a Claims Processor for the State of Oklahoma. She enjoyed attending church at Eastland Baptist Church in Tulsa and Pryor Creek Baptist Church in Pryor. She looked forward to teaching Sunday School Classes for many years. She also enjoyed playing dominoes and spending time with family.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2018 in the Tulsa Baptist Temple in Tulsa, Oklahoma. To leave her family a message, please visit her Tribute Wall at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service.

Ellen is survived by her son, Paul Ellison and wife Janie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Christina Wallace and husband Tim of Claremore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Justin Wallace, Grace Wallace, Stephanie Wallace, David Wallace, Sara Ellison, Laura Ellison, Joshua Ellison and Rachel Ellison; great grandson, Nathan Wallace; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Nancy Young.
