Elvira Stites

Elvira Sue Stites, 86, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on June 13, 1925, the daughter of Ossie Meeks and Eliza Ellen (Collier) Meeks. She was a lifelong resident of Pryor. Elvira married William "Bill" Stites and made a home together until he preceded her in death. She later met Ray Watkins and they spent many years together until his death. Elivira's love for her Lord was most important in her life. She was a lovely lady who will be so very missed by her family and many friends. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lone Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Junior Mullin officiating. "Sonnie" and wife, Trigger Meeks of Pryor, OK; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Meeks Brown Fox of Pryor, OK; many other nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Special friends, Nannette and her husband, Hershall Clayton, Lette "Mae" Mathis and Judy Weaver. She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband, one brother and two sisters.
