Epsey é��â‚ËœSockeyé��â‚é�� Hickman 88 of Tulsa, Ok was born on June 1, 1921 in Ardmore, Ok. She passed away on March 5, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. The daughter of Ned Sockey Nannie Phillips (Johnson) had worked at Baylor Hospital in Dallas TX in the house keeping department. After her retirement she moved to Tulsa in the mid 1980é��â‚â„�s. Her hobbies included sketching drawing, watching Dallas Cowboys Football. But most of all she was a people person she loved everyone and everyone loved her. She loved cooking, sewing and being with her family. She was a member of the Brookside Baptist Church of Tulsa and a proud member of the Choctaw nation. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Harvey Douglas Chapel in Ardmore, Oklahoma with Pastor J. R. Wisdom and Merylene Hickman officiating. Interment will be in the Porter Cemetery at Ardmore, Oklahoma with Johnny Wallace, Jason Wallace, Michael Wallace, Tommy Ballou, Marcelino Salcedo and Daniel Gardner serving as casketbearers. Honorary Casketbearers are Jacob Wallace, Jarrett Wallace, Leslie Mose, Steven Mose and Daniel Gardner. A Wake Service will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the Harvey Douglas Chapel in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Her survivors include 2 sons; Ronald Hickman of Denver, CO. and Herman Hickman wife Anna of Tulsa, OK. 10-Grandchildren, 20-Great Grandchildren, 3-Great Great Grandchildren, 1-Sister Bernice Dreadfulwater of Oklahoma City, Ok. She was preceded in death by 1-Son Donald Hickman in 2005, 2-Brothers, 3-Sisters and her parents.
