Erick Arthur Miller, 67, of Pryor, passed from this life on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Tahlequah. He was born on March 3, 1955 in Muskogee; the son of Robert Miller and Dolly (Lowthers) Matherly. He enjoyed carpentry, helping his friends remodel houses, and was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He loved to play a round of golf and go out fishing anytime he had the chance. He also liked to smoke meat for family and friends. He leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Miller of the home; son, Troy Dever of Pryor; daughter, Tina Taylor of Tulsa; brothers, Gaylan Matherly of Mustang, Ron and Grant Miller both of Stroud, and Mike Matherly; sister, Gayla Matherly; three grandchildren, Justin, Connor, and Madison; one great-grandson, Lincoln; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Miller and Dolly and Cleo Matherly; son, Floyd Shafer; step-brother, Monty Matherly; and step-sister, Cathy Smith.
