Ernest Jump

Ernest Carrus Jump, 71, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on April 8, 1940 in Milan, Georgia, the son of Dewitt Jump and Lucille (Walker) Jump. He married Ann Myrick in Aiken, South Carolina. They had been married for 45 years. Ernest moved to Pryor in 1998 from Macon, Georgia. He was a member of the Pryor Apostolic Church in Pryor. Ernest enjoyed walking and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Ernest will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in the Pryor Apostolic Church with Reverend Nathan Chamberlain officiating. Interment will be in the Benge Cemetery with Dwayne Jump, Keith Jump, Eric Jump, Michael Jump, Dylan Jump, Steve Jump and Ronnie Schoolcraft serving as casket bearers. He is survived by his wife, Ann Jump of the home; his sons, Steve and wife, Crystal Jump of Macon, GA, Keith Jump of Gray, GA, Dwayne and wife, Alisa Jump of Gray, GA, Eric Jump of Gray, GA and Michael and wife, Shelly Jump of Miami, OK; step-son, Lee Roberts of Macon, GA; daughters, Shayna and husband, Keith Amerson of Gray, GA, Carla and husband, Ronny Schoolcraft of Odessa, TX; Jessica Jump of Pryor, OK and Alexandria Jump of Rose, OK; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt and Lucille Jump; two sisters, Bernice Lynch and Bonnie Brown.
