Ernest Lowe McAllister, 66, of Salina, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at his home. He was born on September 10, 1949 in San Diego, California; the son of Homer Cunningham and Dorothy Humprey. Ernest faithfully served his country in the United States Army in the 70's. He married the love of his life, Loise, in Lakeside, California on July 12, 1968. He earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Sharpshooter (Rifle) ribbon. He spent most of his life serving his town as a Police Officer in Rogue River, Oregon. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed archery and the outdoors. Ernest has lived in the area for 3 years, coming from Monroe, Washington and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He looked forward to spending time with his family and enjoyed every minute he had to spend with them. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 5p.m., at: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pryor, Ok.
