Ernie Lampson

May 19, 1986 — July 2, 2017

Ernie Ray Lampson, 31, of Chouteau, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his home in Chouteau. He was born on May 19, 1986; the son of John D. and Denise (Rickner) Lampson. Ernie attended Chouteau - Mazie Schools and has lived in the area most of his life. He worked as a general laborer for various companies, the last being the Castle of Muskogee. He was an outdoorsman, and loved to go fishing, noodling and working on cars. He enjoyed being around his friends and family, but especially looked forward to spending time with his children. He leaves us much too soon, and leaves behind many wonderful memories for his friends and family to cherish.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2017 in the Pleasant View Baptist Church with Reverend Jerold Pilant officiating. Ernie is survived by his parents, John and Denise Lampson; son, Alexander Lampson of
Muskogee, Oklahoma; daughters, Jolene Lampson of Chouteau, Oklahoma and Emerald Lampson of Muskogee, Oklahoma; brothers, Chris Lampson and wife Virginia Lampson of Chouteau, Oklahoma and twin brother, John Lampson and wife Tabitha of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sister, Tiffany Lewallen and husband Todd of Chouteau, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his paternal; grandparents, John and Sylvia Lampson and maternal grandparents, David, Ricker, Ernie and Crystal Kahle.
