Eula

Eula Viola King, 74, of Salina, passed away on December 20, 2014 in Salina, Oklahoma. She was born on February 24, 1940 in Salina; the daughter of Les and Susan (Black) Anderson. Eula worked as a CMA for Shady Rest for many years, and enjoyed working with people. Eula loved to watch Western Shows, especially "Gene Autry." She looked forward to playing bingo, and reading. She also enjoyed canning; many remember her canned peaches. Most of all, Eula enjoyed her family and cherished each moment he had to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gene Hurley, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Ross - Mayes Cemetery with Chris Lindsey, John Powers, Michael Hall, Kory Kaup, Chuck Ward, and Brian Conway serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2014 in the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel. Eula is survived by her sons, Tim and wife Lessa Eslinger of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Roger and wife Pat Easky of Salina, Oklahoma; daughters, Carol and husband Tom Donaldson of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Kathy Easky of Salina, Oklahoma; sister, Eunice Denny of Maysville, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Les Anderson; mother, Susan Anderson; daughters, Sheila Conway and Bonnie Hall, son, Raymond Easky; granddaughters, Rebecca Guffey and Teresa Conway; grandsons, Brannon Hurley and Danny Lee Conway; sisters, Gladys Wilkerson, Itris Gann, and Mattie Ward and brother, Tom Anderson.
